Our mission is to “Make Lives Better, In All That We Do.” We want to help take away some stress from people who face health challenges. Time is a precious gift, it should be spent with family and loved ones- not cleaning.

WHY ARE WE OFFERING COMPLIMENTARY CLEANING SERVICES?

Motivated by personal experience, Yorleny, and Tony Loeffler understand the impact of cancer on families firsthand. Following the loss of their mother to cancer in January 2023, they were profoundly grateful for the assistance received from other organizations. Motivated by gratitude and empathy, they decided to actively contribute to the well-being of others facing similar challenges. “We are deeply moved by the compassion and assistance we received during our family’s time of need,” said Yorleny Loeffler. “Partnering with Cleaning for a Reason allows us to extend that same support to others battling cancer. We understand the importance of easing the burden of everyday tasks, such as cleaning and household chores, so patients and their families can focus on what truly matters.

What is CLEANING FOR A REASON?

Cleaning for a Reason partners with more than 1,300 residential cleaners throughout the United States and Canada to offer free house cleaning to any household battling cancer. Since 2006, the nonprofit and its partners have donated more than $18 million in services, helping more than 54,000 cancer patients. In 2017, Cleaning for a Reason was adopted by ISSA Charities, the charitable arm of ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association.
